Making your own downpipe can save big bucks.

But until now flanges for your Volvo turbo were either non existent, were not made correctly, or you had to settle for a 1/4" poor-fitting-but-close-enough off-the-shelf generic exhaust shop flange for your downpipe. The Volvo turbo uses a gasketless mechanical seal, and for a leak free downpipe the downpipe flange must have the mechanical seal machined into it as well. Most if not all aftermarket downpipes use generic flat flanges that do not have the mechanical seal bored into it, and you end up with leaks. This is great for cost savings, but you end up with a substandard results.

Do it right the first time and get the correct flange designed specifically for the job. Quickbrick Motorsports offers quality laser cut 3/8" thick flanges in mild or stainless steel. Bring the QBM downpipe flange to any exhaust shop and they will be able to make a downpipe for your car very inexpensively. You can even buy a mandrel bend and a few 02 bungs and do it yourself!

Note: It does not matter what size downpipe you plan on building - the flange is no different for 2.5" vs 3" downpipe. The turbocharger model (according to the application list above) will determine which is the correct QBM downpipe flange to select.
